Slavonia (Croatian: Slavonija) is a geographical and historical region in eastern Croatia. It borders by the Drava river in the north, the Sava river in the south, the Illova river in the west and the Danube river in the east. While generally known as a lowland, Slavonia actually has a number of hills.
The largest and the capital city of Slavonia is Osijek, the fourth largest city in Croatia. Osijek is the economic and cultural centre of the eastern Croatian region of Slavonia.

Croatia regions of Northwest Croatia and Central Croatia;
Serbia region of Vojvodina;
Hungary regions of Southern Transdanubia and Southern Great Plain;
