Birth

Invited by a friend, Rokas decided to join eRepublik community. Lithuanian IRL, he looked for eLithuania, but it was not existing at that time. So he chose a country, where many Lithuanians IRL live, thus could possibly be a nest for eLithuanian community - eUK. And he was right.

History in eUK

eUK worked as a place to learn the game. A few months were spent looking around, learning history and game mechanics. Gold was being gathered with the thought of starting company later on. Rokas joined Royal Guard army, but never had to participate in any real war. Days were passing through quite boring, when...

eLithuania

eLithuania appearance

eLithuania appeared on the map. The decision was made long ago. Bought enough food to survive in a fresh new country for at least a week and moved to eLithuania. There he joined with around 100 more Lithuanians who came to the new home. Several articles were already in place and there was a link to eLithuanian community site: www.erepublik.lt Two Lithuanian communities joined to one place there. One was from eUK and another from eRussia. Rokas spectated the people who took the lead, dropping a comment here and there.

First elections

Community quickly organized for the first, essential elections, since the new country had 1000 gold and 100,000LTL in accounts. Political Takeover threat was imminent. Rokas was among the first congress candidates, but since Hungarians with Agnostics party were trying a take over, he cast his vote on another candidate to let more eLithuanians into congress. Thus he did not enter congress on the first term. However due to good contacts and knowledge of happenings outside eLithuanian borders, he became a Foreign Affairs advisor for the first president.

Newspaper: Teisybe

The new government made several mistakes. One was building the first hospital in non-important region, leaving High Grain Sudovia region undefended, while during discussions the opinion was very clear, that the first hospital should go to Sudovia. Second was joining PEACE GC alliance, a decision made by a handful of people, undiscussed and unexpected by the rest of community. Thus trying to increase community awareness, a new newspaper Teisybe (translates to The Truth) was born, with the first article arguing against taking country-wide decisions behind closed doors by a handful of players. Rokas stopped supporting the governemnt and advising to president. Later, the newspaper was used for a wide variety of issues.

Congressman

Second elections were much calmer, there were less candidates than congress seats, and Rokas became a congressman. President called a search for minister of Foreign Affairs and Rokas offered his service again, hoping to help bring the government to the better.
