Fourth Balkan War
The Fourth Balkan War is an ongoing multi-national conflict that served as one of the main catalysts for World War V.
The precise beginning date of the conflict is difficult to determine, largely due to the fact that each of the belligerents have had long-standing animosity toward each other and have frequently gone to war in both large scale wars and minor battles.
As a part of World War V, the Fourth Balkan War began roughly around March 20, 2011. However, there were prior conflicts that could also be considered part of the engagement.
This war would comprise mostly of ONE-allied forces against those of EDEN. In the Balkans, Serbia and Slovenia would attack Croatia, while at the same time Hungary would invade Romania further in the north.
During the war Bulgaria will also enter the war, in order to help their allies Croatia and Romania from the ONE invasion. Bulgaria is involved also on the Middle East front, because they have war with Iran. But later Bulgaria would attack their hostile members Turkey. Turkey currently are at war with Greece.
Serbian and Slovenian forces attacked Croatia in unison, placing the latter country on the defensive early on in the war. Eventually Serbia would take complete control of the ONE-allied forces, while Slovenia would re-focus its troops to engage Italy on the Western Front.
Croatia would fall to Serbian forces on April 2, 2011.

It is difficult to determine exactly when the conflict on the Romanian Front began, considering historical animosities, but by 20 March 2011 the two forces were fully engaged. Non-allied Republic of Moldova, considered to be a puppet state, would also be involved in the front, primarily through resistance wars.

After unsuccessful attempts to propose Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) as Natural enemy, the Bulgarian government proposed Turkey as a NE, because of rumors that Turkey had intentions to attack Bulgaria. After a stalemate on the battlefront Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) and Serbia decided to attack Bulgaria in order to help their ally. Meanwhile Bulgaria still remained in an ongoing conflict against Iran in the Middle East. While managing to hold off the invasion in the beggining, Bulgaria succembed its opponents and was occupied. This, however, didn't continue for long as Bulgaria started to liberate its regions by Resistance Wars and to advance into the Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) mainland.
Before the war Greece had conquered Turkey and had rented several regions to Romania. After a series of RW and direct attacks Turkey managed to free all of its original regions and attacked Greece's original territories. Greek was almost conquered twice, but after and intervention by Bulgaria (the first time) and Cyprus (the second time), Greece regained its lost territories. When Greece finally pushed deep in Turkey's territories both countries signed peace with Greece returning the conquered territories. After a successful campaign in the Middle East, Greece attacked Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). The first attack was in Western Macedonia which was successfully defended by Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). At the end of the war FYR Macedonia conquered all of Greece, they held the regions in the Middle East in order to secure them from attacks of Iran and Cyprus, but all the regions in Egypt and a couple of in Saudi Arabia were given back via Resistance War.
