The following is a timeline of Austria's history on eRepublik. The history of Austria began in November 2007 when it was first added to eRepublik.

- Austria is added as a country in eRepublik as one of the first countries.
- Day 12 - 2nd December 2007
- frsd is elected as the first president of Austria.
Day 100 to 199
- Day 102 - 2nd March 2008
Day 200 to 299
- Day 203 - June 10th 2008
- Slovenia is formed.
- As a result, many real life Slovenians (which made up a large portion of the population of Austria) moved to the newly formed Slovenia. This in turn ruined the economy of Austria.

- Day 443 - 5th February 2009
- The February Presidential election takes place between Chicco, Silent Bob, and murdelemskin.
- Day 444 - 6th February 2009
- Chicco is announced as the 13th president of Austria, his first term as president.
- Day 465 - 27th February 2009
- Germany-Austria - Austrian President Chicco and German President Isy agree to terms on uniting Germany and Austria into a union.
- Day 466 - 28th February 2009
- Germany-Austria - Austria declares war on Germany to begin the process of uniting into the Germany-Austria Union.
- Day 468 - 2nd March 2009
- Germany-Austria - Germany launches an invasion of Salzburg, capturing the region when President Chicco retreated.
- Day 469 - 3rd March 2009
- Germany-Austria - Germany launches an invasion of Styria and Upper Austria, capturing the regions when President Chicco retreated.

- Germany-Austria - Germany launches an invasion of Lower Austria and Vorarlberg, capturing the regions when President Chicco retreated. However, Hungary captured Burgenland, complicating merger plans.

- The April Presidential election takes place between incumbent Chicco, and Silent Bob.
- Germany-Austria - Germany launches an invasion of Tyrol and Carinthia to continue the unification process.
- Day 472 - 6th March 2009
- Silent Bob is announced as the 14th president of Austria, his first term as president.
- Germany-Austria - With the election of the Silent Bob, unification comes to a halt and Germany retreats the battle of Tyrol.

- The April Presidential election takes place, with Metallon running unopposed.
- Day 503 - 6th April 2009
- Metallon is announced as the 15th president of Austria, his first term as president.
- Day 532 - 5th May 2009
- The May Presidential election takes place, with incumbent Metallon being the only candidate.

- The July Presidential election takes place between incumbent Lynari, ahmadjigar, Silent Bob, and brad rules.

- A resistance war begins in Hungarian occupied Burgenland.[1]
- Day 655 - 5th September 2009
- Day 656 - 6th September 2009
- Metallon is announced as the 16th president of Austria, his third term as president.
- Day 659 - 8th September 2009
- Controvery emerges over the Ministry of Finance, when Minister of Immigration Nykoal comes out in opposition to an issuing of ATS, with accusations of misconduct against against Minister of Finance Olorum.[3]
- Day 660 - 9th September 2009
- President Metallon states that while there is a free press, "if you join my cabinet you will obey my rules.. and that is no public attack on co-workers or washing dirty laundry in public." Tensions rise in the cabinet as both Minister of Justice Lynari and Minister of Immigration Nykoal nearly leave the cabinet. However, the issue is settled and the government remains together.[4]

- Day 686 - 6th October 2009
- Rangeley is announced as the 18th president of Austria, his first term as president.
- World War III - Austria officially withdraws from all offensive operations within PEACE GC, effectively ending Austrian involvement in the war.[5]
- Day 695 - 15th October 2009
- Controversy over the last minute donation of 250 gold late on October 5th emerges, as there was some dispute over whether it was before or after Metallon's term ended. The controversy was fueled further when a Secretary General of the alliance, Jazar, stated it would not matter when the donation was made.
- Day 696 - 16th October 2009
- Peace is signed between the nations of Austria and Italy. [6]
- The "Mother Teresa Project," a weekly donation drive, is unveiled by the Austrian Government in an effort to raise money for the Austrian Red Cross. Through several fundraising drives, the cost of operation was able to be matched and surpassed.[7]

- The Austrian Constitution is approved by congress, and President Rangeley.[9]

- Day 701 - 21st October 2009
- President Rangeley calls on the country to reject the concept of wars of revenge. "Let's be Austria, the little country that was taken advantage of, and grew up into something better. Let's take a good look at what is wrong with the world, and try to fix it - not just accept it. Let's be different."[10]
- Day 703 - 23rd October 2009
- Austria and the Czech Republic sign the "Statement of Shared Principles," a non-binding agreement stating that both nations would respect each others sovereignty and use diplomatic means to settle disputes. [11]

- Hungary-Austria War - Hungary launches a surprise attack into the Burgenland region of Austria, commencing the Hungary-Austria War.
- Day 730 - 19th November 2009
- Hungary-Austria War - The Battle of Burgenland ends with an Austrian victory.
- Day 731 - 20th November 2009
- Hungary-Austria War - Austria launches a counter-attack into Bratislava, a Hungarian occupied region of Slovakia, in an effort to help liberate the nation from occupation.
- Day 732 - 21st November 2009
- Hungary-Austria War - The Battle of Bratislava ends with a Hungarian victory, though two other regions would be liberated by allied forces.
- Day 735 - 24th November 2009
- Hungary-Austria War - Negotiations between Austria and Hungary conclude, ending hostilities and the war.
- Day 743 - 3rd December 2009
- Spain-France War - Spain launches an invasion of Aquitaine, beginning the Spain-France War. Austria pledges its support of France, and enters the war in their defense.

- The December Presidential election takes place between the incumbent Rangeley, Alfred Ball, Oraizan, and MachtGeil.

- rjeddings officially resigns as Minister of Finance of Austria. Stoneman is named as his successor.

- Spain-France War - Spain launches an attack on Burgundy. Austria fights on behalf of France.

- Spain-France War - Spain launches an attack on Burgundy. Austria fights on behalf of France.

- Spain-France War - The Battle of Burgundy ends with an Spanish conquest of the territory.

- Spain-France War - Spain launches an attack on Franche-comte. Austria fights on behalf of France.

- The February Presidential election takes place between Borojevic von Bonjar, Oraizan, and Stancel.

- Borojevic von Bonjar is announced as the 20th president of Austria, his first term as president.
- Day 814 - 11th February 2010
- First Croatia-Austria War - Croatia declares war on Austria after President Borojevic von Bonjar refuses to let Croatia pass through, beginning the First Croatia-Austria War.
- Day 815 - 12th February 2010
- Day 816 - 13th February 2010
- First Croatia-Austria War - Croatia takes Salzburg from Austria.
- Day 819 - 16th February 2010
- Borojevic von Bonjar resigns as president of Austria and Oraizan becomes the new president of Austria.
- Day 836 - 5th March 2009
- The March Presidential election takes place between the Hedera and bobbySAURON.
- Day 837 - 6th March 2010
- Hedera becomes the 23rd President of Austria.
- Day 844 - 13th March 2010
- Hedera is found out to be a Polish PTO agent and steals all of the treasury, most companies and organizations.
- Day 868 - 6th April 2010
- Stoneman is announced as the 24th president of Austria, his first term as president.
- Djani Ujkan Marich lost a total of 40 votes as a result of multiple accounts being banned, if they had not been banned then Djani Ujkan Marich would have been named president.

- Day 888 - 26th April 2010
- Minister of Finance Borojevic von Bonjar proposes a donation of 21,000 HUF to the Austrian Central Bank. The Croatian takeover blocks this proposal in a narrow 19-19 vote.
- Day 891 - 29th April 2010
- Minister of Finance Borojevic von Bonjar again proposes a donation of 21,000 HUF to the Austrian Central Bank. The Croatian takeover blocks this proposal a second time, again in a 19-19 vote.
- Day 892 - 30th April 2010
- The Croatian takeover proposes a donation of the 21,000 HUF to one of their organizations. Breaking the deadlock, it is successfully transferred by a vote of 21-17.
- Day 893 - May 1st 2010
- The Croatian takeover proposes a donation of the 245 gold to one of their organizations. It passes again by a vote of 20-16.
- Austrian spies infiltrate the takeover group, and find proof that Djani Ujkan Marich was a member. As a result, several parties withdrew their endorsement of him and instead nominated Rangeley.[13]
- Day 895 - May 3rd 2010
- The Croatian takeover proposes a donation of the 4,000 ATS to one of their organizations. It passes by a vote of 20-19.
- Day 897 - 5th May 2010
- The May Presidential election takes place between Rangeley, and Djani Ujkan Marich.
- The Croatian takeover proposes a donation of the 4,000 ATS to one of their organizations. It passes by a vote of 19-17.
- Day 898 - 6th May 2010
- Rangeley is announced as the 25th president of Austria, his fourth term as president.
- Second Japan-South Korea War - Japan declares war on South Korea, looking to expand into the Korean peninsula. Austrian mobile forces are deployed to Gyeonggi-do, South Korea to fight in the Battle of Gyeongsangbuk-do, in defense against the Japanese invasion.[14]
- Day 899 - 7th May 2010
- Second Japan-South Korea War - The Battle of Gyeongsangbuk-do ends with Japan conquering the region. Austrian troops do 68,000 damage.[15]
Day 900 to 999
- Day 903 - 11th May 2010
- The Croatian takeover moves the previously stolen gold back into the Austrian treasury in order to issue it as currency. The Austrian Government begins blocking proposals to prevent them from withdrawing the money again.
- Day 904 - 12th May 2010
- The Croatian takeover issues threats against the government to halt blocks, warning that taxes and the minimum wage would be raised if they were not allowed to steal as much as they desired. The Austrian Government continues the blocks and initiates services to help citizens relocate if necessary while the laws are in effect.[16]
- Day 905 - 13th May 2010
- Second Japan-South Korea War - A resistance war begins in Gyeongsangbuk-do, where Austria again deploys its mobile forces to aid the South Korean effort.
- Day 906 - 14th May 2010
- Slovenia takes over several regions of Austria in order to secure money in the treasury. In total 6 regions were captured, blocking 130,000 ATS from falling to PTO hands.[17]
- Second Japan-South Korea War - The resistance war in Gyeongsangbuk-do ends with Japan securing the region.
- Day 908 - 16th May 2010
- Party President Election Results - All non-takeover parties are held, while one of the two takeover parties (Pro Patria Furs Vaterland) was successfully captured.
- Second Japan-South Korea War - A resistance war is begun in Jeju by South Korean forces. Austria contributes force while Resistance Wars are started in Gyeongsangbuk-do and Jeju.
- Day 909 - 17th May 2010
- Second Japan-South Korea War - Japan conquers Gyeongsangnam-do, Chungcheongnam-do and Chungcheongbuk-do and retains Gyeongsangbuk-do and Jeju.
- Second Japan-South Korea War - Japan attacks Gyeonggi-do and Jeollanam-do of South Korea.

- Poland attacks both Styria and Burgenland, Austria's only two regions at this time. Austria later retreats Styria to, enabling Germany to open an attack on the region and begin to block Poland.
- The Croatian takeover proposes a donation of 10,397 HRK to one of their organizations. For the first time since they initially seized power, it fails by a vote of 12-17. The blocking proposal protecting 41,513 ATS similarly passes for the first time by a vote of 14-12, placing this money into an official org.
- Austria gets Upper Austria back after a resistance war while Poland conquers Burgenland.
- Day 913 - 21st May 2010
- Hungary attacks Polish controlled Burgenland and wins.
- Vorarlberg is returned to Austria after a successful resistance war.
- Day 914 - 22nd May 2010
- Austria attacks Polish controlled Styria.
- Burgenland is returned to Austria after a successful resistance war.
- Day 915 - 23rd May 2010
- Djani Ujkan Marich moves away from Austria with many other renowned PTOers following him.
- Day 918 - 26th May 2010
- Legitimate parties return to power in the Austrian congress.

- Second Japan-South Korea War - South Korea reclaims its final region, concluding the war with a victory.[18]

- Hungary defeats Slovakia and advances into the Slovakian controlled regions of what was once Czech Republic.

- The first Austrian Opinion Poll is held with a total of 29 responses. The theme of the poll was about current events and the June 2010 presidential elections.

- The June Presidential election takes place between Fragreg and Kaiser Alex.
- Day 929 - 6th June 2010
- Fragreg is announced as the 26th president of Austria, his first term as president.

- Lower Austria becomes an Austrian region once again after a successful Resistance War started by the former possessor, Hungary.
- Day 959 - 6th July 2010
- Penegrin wins the July presidential election
