Citizenship
Naturally, any citizen who had been a resident of the Philippines during the implementation of the Citizenship Module on July 16, 2009 will have automatically the Philippine Citizenship. Also, any newly registered citizens to the game will automatically have the citizenship. But, if any eRepublik citizen who wants to be a citizen of the Philippines should first apply for a citizenship request found in the Country Page of the Philippines in the game.
These requests are then determined in the hands of the members of the Philippine Congress through a popular poll in the forums. Once a decision is made, a list of approved requests in the forum will determine the approval of the requests found in-game. Prior to any citizenship debate, a citizenship applicant may be interrogated for initial tests and questions. The answers of the applicant will also be presented to Congress. This will also influence the Congress if they will accept any citizenship requests.
