Congress of the Netherlands 2023

In 2023, the Congressional elections take place on the 25th day of each month and the Congress is inaugurated two days later, on the 27th of each month. Citizens vote for national party lists instead of individual candidates.

March

In March 2023, the Netherlands had 8 regions under its control which meant that a maximum of 40 Congress members could be elected to the Congress. Due to the lack of Congress candidates, only 23 Congress members were elected, while 17 seats remained empty. Only four parties participated in this election, as Verenigd Nederland, the nr. 5 by size at the time of the election, had no Congress candidates.
