The US Congressional elections were held since 1st of December 2007, however, not a lot of data is available about elections since then up to October 2008.
Due to the huge number of political parties in the USA and because only the top five parties can run candidates in the Congressional elections, parties outside of the top five run candidates on another party's ticket and thus did not receive any votes for their party as such. "Their votes" are counted towards the party's ticket upon which the candidate ran.
