The Democratic Party of Japan was a party based in Japan. In early June, the Ronin merged into the DPJ and boosted the member count to 50 from which the DPJ has been able to ride upon and solidly become a top-5 party.
Party Members
In Mid-December, DPJ members included two cabinet ministers in Japan, Aston Reynold and Metic, the Secretary of Culture and Events and the Minister of Internal Affairs, respectively. It was the only party at the time, outside the two largest parties (the Imperial Sun Party and Godzilla Party) who had such representation in Cabinet. It had also a long tradition of holding the Minister of Health and Internal Affairs positions, starting with Metic in November, carrying onto Miyazaki Miho and to DanPMK.
Following its rise to a top-5 party, it competed in its first congress elections and elected 5 members during the June elections. It was also represented in government by Metic (Vice President) and DanPMK (Minister of Health).
