Military Decorations, Medals and Insignia of the United States are decorations which recognize military rank, in-game damage rank, position, and accomplishments of a soldier during his or her military career in the paramilitary group led by the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Military Decorations
Military Service Awards
The following awards are to be given for military service of three months in any one of the sections of the United States Military (in order of precedence):
- Marine Service Ribbon
- Airborne Service Ribbon
- Cavalry Service Ribbon
- Army Service Ribbon
- Mobile Infantry Service Ribbon
- Air Force Service Ribbon
- National Guard Service Ribbon - old
- Home Guard Service Ribbon
- National Guard Service Ribbon - new
- Training Corps Service Ribbon
Military Officer Awards
Officers of each branch may substitute the Military Service Award with the Military Officer Award, which experience from within the branch may be added with time served as an officer. Only the service ribbon or the officer ribbon for the same branch may be worn at a time, not both at the same time.
The following awards are to be given for officer service in any one of the sections of the United States Military (in order of precedence):
- Marine Officer Ribbon
- Airborne Officer Ribbon
- Cavalry Officer Ribbon
- Army Officer Ribbon
- Mobile Infantry Officer Ribbon
- Air Force Officer Ribbon
- National Guard Officer Ribbon - old
- Home Guard Officer Ribbon
- National Guard Officer Ribbon - new
- Training Corps/Training Division Officer Ribbon
Note: Officer ribbons are higher in the order of precedence than service ribbons (i.e., a Training Division Officer ribbon would go to the left of a Marine Service ribbon). Also, the blue color in the Airborne ribbons and Air Force ribbons are slightly different.
Joint Chiefs of Staff Ribbon
- Joint Chiefs of Staff Ribbon's' device placement is different from Military Officer Awards in that it is awarded to the soldier's highest attained level in the Joint Chiefs of Staff, not by the length of service. The JCS Officer Ribbon shall only be worn in the following three configurations:
- is reserved for those who have served as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
- is reserved for those who have served as the Chief of Staff of a particular branch of the United States Military
- is reserved for those who have served as the Vice-Chief of Staff of a particular branch of the United States Military
