Boy Pick Up era
There have been numerous communist and socialist movements in the Philippines. The first party was the Communist Party - Philippines created by EZEX Lacroa from the National Filipinista Party in July 2009. They supported SyrkiusAFK in the August 2009 Presidential Elections, but lost. It lasted for two months after it was ended by September 2009 after the creation of the birth of the Filipino Labor Party.

The party was formed after the Liberal Movement Party was renamed around May 2012. The party then grew with Aliana Almazan, mother of Liana Paldrov being active members. On the June 2012 presidential elections, the party endorsed DrummerMike as their candidate, being supported by the Kilusan ng Makabayang Pilipino and the Democratic Party for Progress.

The Partido Komunista ng Pilipinas (English: Communist Party of the Philippines), abbreviated as PKP, was a far-left political party in the Philippines. It was the smallest political party in the country for most of its existence.

History

Boy Pick Up era

The Partido Komunista ng Pilipinas was founded on 16 July 2013 by Boy Pick Up after defeating ePece in the July 2013 party election. It claimed to be the successor of the Filipino Communist Party as both parties share the same party tree, and founder Boy Pick Up was also the last general secretary of the FCP before its dissolution.

The party endorsed incumbent Al Raposas in the August 2013 presidential election. Raposas was re-elected after defeating agent of chaos with a margin of fifteen votes. In his fifth State of the Republic Address, Raposas announced a reshuffling of cabinet members which included reappointing Boy Pick Up from Minister of Defense to Minister of Culture.[1]

On the day of the August 2013 congress elections, General Secretary Boy Pick Up announced that everyone who votes for the PKP shall receive 15 Q7 weapons and 15 Q5 food. He immediately denied possible allegations of bribery in the article, explaining that the supplies are for the benefit of Filipinos who were fighting in the war against Pakistan. The move went uncriticized, and the party won three seats in the 47th Congress.[2] Boy Pick Up was proclaimed as the 11th Speaker of the House of the Congress of the Philippines on 1 September 2013 after being nominated by Kilusan ng Makabayang Pilipino Congressman Vincenzo Roque.[3]

Boy Pick Up had a feud with KMP Congressman Prince Mark over the latter's proposal of a 500-peso term salary for members of congress. Boy Pick Up, along with other lawmakers, saw this as an introduction of pork barrel and immediately opposed the proposal. Infuriated by the accusations made towards him, Prince Mark resigned as Member of Congress and Ambassador of the Philippines to China, accused Al Raposas and Boy Pick Up of greed and lack of transparency, moved to Pakistan where he vowed to take revenge.[4] Boy Pick Up saw this as an act of treason, and retaliated by publicly mocking Prince Mark in a news article,[5] and filing a bill seeking to declare him persona non grata.[6]

As general secretary, Boy Pick Up once again endorsed Al Raposas for a third consecutive term in the September 2013 presidential election. However, Raposas lost to returning candidate agent of chaos on experience points after the voting ended in a tie. Despite the administration change, Boy Pick Up retained his position in the cabinet as Minister of Culture.

Originally a candidate for the October 2013 presidential election, Boy Pick Up ended his bid to support BaZ III Glow in the Dark III of MAHARLIKA, much to the dismay of Al Raposas who was in the middle of investigating the alleged corruption of the current administration.
