Poitou-Charentes

Poitou-Charentes is a region of France. It was taken over by the United States of America, and later reconquered by France as a result of World War II. Its capital is Poitiers.

History
On December 8, 2008 (Day #384) Poitou-Charentes was conquered and occupied by the United States of America[1]. This region was liberated on December 27, 2008 (Day #403) by France[2].
