What is the bar?

The Bar is a place in which editors can exchange their ideas, or drink a beer.

You are welcome to start a new discussion, but keep in mind that all articles have their own talk pages, and please remember to sign your comments!

In summary, how we treat each other does matter. It matters because, without empathy, our lives are shallow, self-centered and meaningless.

A lot of changes has been made in the last months and currently we have tons of translations out of date providing outdated information to your fellow countrymen. So I urge you, our dear translators, to check every article there is about game play in this wiki that has been translated to your language and update them. Bulgaria-Argentina War?

Hi there, so I'm paying attention to this article Bulgaria-Argentina War but I have serious doubts about its name and if the other front just opened (Chile vs Australia) should be included here. I put here because of I don't know if I write it in discussion would be read and because it involves a "second" war, and I just arrived a week ago here at eR wiki, so I want opinionsof what to do! Hello! I started the article and I included all involved countries in this war. Chile vs Argentina, Brazil vs Bolivia and etc. are part of this war, but they are just different fronts. About Chile vs Australia - I think this should be a new war, because it has nothing to do with last Bulgarian and CoT attacks. I think it should be New Zealand-Australia War with Chilean front. About Bulgaria-Argentina - Chile vs Argentina started when Bulgaria was in South America and it is a (final) part of the war. -- galenaandrea 02:08, 8 September 2012 (PDT)

eRepublik being Cancelled

A username by the name of Kolecar had created a page saying eRepublik was closing down. The information is false and he has been banned for now. I hope that this will settle things down for now, however, I would like the communities opinion on what I have done, which was ban him for (infinite), delete the page and delete an image associated with the page. -- Mikhail Alexander | Talk 03:31, 29 September 2012 (PDT)

It depends. If it just trolling/vandalism/hater, then delete the page and all the things associated with it. If it is about an eRepublik article/fictional information, then tag the page to clearly state that the information is false and move on. Template «MenuEconomy» translation

Hello everyone! :) I have one smaaaaaal question, and I hope, that anyone knows answer.
I want to translate template «MenuEconomy» (uses so often) to Russian, but when I analyzed translations on other languages, I seen, that result of using this template is a «Pages with too many expensive parser function calls» category (~100 calls). So, question: how I (we) shall translate (instruction is useless for this template, I guess) this template to avoid too many expensive parser functions calls?

Hmmm... In translated template I found only one «[[{{{1}}}|{{{1}}}]]». This page also don't have a lot of {{L}}. Problem only with {{MenuEconomy}} with translate— So Kawaii 07:24, 1 October 2012 (PDT)

Editor Karnitx http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/User:Karnitx has been making what seem to be very biased (at best) edits.

• He has created Political Party page Partido Comunista de eEspana with unflattering remarks (albeit in Spanish)
• His edit of Egypts country page presents a very narrow / one-sided view of a political situation in Egypt. That page needs to be reverted back or edited.
• His edit of División Azul has been classified as vandalism by another editor. --Sre8renica 04:24, 3 October 2012 (PDT)

Give it another try... at least, ask for a status update on the support level/resources for the Wiki... when I left the team, User:Xtasia promised she should take care of the Wiki and to help you guys and girls. Deleted images

I am creating my page eRepublik political party, but most of the images I uploaded have been deleted:

Can I recover this image or I need to upload again?

Military Ranks

Hola,

As probably a lot of you have seen over the last couple of months there has been a problem with quite a few military ranks displaying "Error creating thumbnail: convert: unable to open image" error, instead of showing the rank image. Today, we can happily announce that the problem has been solved and the military ranks are fully working.

Unused files removed

Hi,

Over the last month we've been working on removing as many unused files as possible from the wiki. After a month of hard work we've managed to remove around 6468 unused files from the wiki. Due to the way that the wiki works there is a possibility that a file which is used, has been removed as it was marked as unused, in such cases please provide us with the page link below and we'll restore the file.
