Oblige was promoted to Commanding Office of the Special Forces on August 4th, 2012. He has served previously as a Senior Officer with the rank of Lt. Cpl for over six months, prior to which he was the Company Commanding Officer of Alpha Company and the Platoon Commanding Officer of Alpha First Platoon.
Prior to serving in the Special Forces, Oblige was a member of the SEAL Team 6.
