Birth
Rheinlander von Phalz was born on Day 631 in New Jersey, United States. The country was mostly occupied by the invading forces of PEACE, and New Jersey and Florida remained the only remaining United States regions with Q5 hospitals. He remained there until the region was conquered by Russia and a short time later moved to rejoin the rest of the United States population in Florida by way of Slovakia. While there, he joined America's Advancement Party and fought to reclaim the United States from Indonesia and the rest of the PEACE Global Community. He moved to Arizona shortly after it was taken back from Indonesia and ran for his first term in the United States Congress. During his first election, Rheinlander moved to California, which had recently been taken back from Indonesia and had a Q5 hospital reestablished, and fought against Hungary in regions originally belonging to Canada.
Early Days, Congress of USA
On 25 September 2009, von Phalz for the first time ran for an elected office - the Congress seat in Arizona. The region was under Indonesian occupation the month prior and had no incumbent. The region was his first choice presented to Party President Mercurius100 but turned out to be a challenging region to win. His primary opponent, a former candidate in Arizona, was running under the Conservative Party but was also supported by the United Independents Party. The Conservative Party was not leading in any region going into the final hours of the election, and Arizona was their narrowest margin, leaving it their primary target. However, they did not amass the votes to flip the state, and von Phalz won 13-9. He went on to face the same challenger in October and was reelected 27-17, the highest-voted candidate in a region outside of Florida and California (the major population centers of the United States). He was the first America's Advancement Party congressman from Arizona, and went on to earn a third term in the state unopposed.
For his third and fourth terms in USA Congress, von Phalz was the Deputy Speaker, appointed by Speaker of the House Serendipitous.
von Phalz began his military career as a member of Third Platoon, Charlie Company of the United States Home Guard. He was accepted during a lapse in Training Corps operations for being a member of Congress.
