John Forseti, full title Lord John Forseti MBE, House of Forseti, Duke of Cleveland MID was a citizen of the United Kingdom, a peer in the House of Lords, member of The Unity Party and a former Government Minister, Member of the United Kingdom Congress and Military Commander.

Political Career

Public Service

John Forseti has a lifelong commitment to the North East of England region of the United Kingdom where he was born, and even now is the Chief Executive Officer of the North East Regional Development Corporation. He spent most of his early life as the NHS Clinic director there and continued until the abolition of the National Health Service in May. In March 2009 his patients rewarded his hard work and dedication by electing him as a congress member there with 11 votes, which was 37.9% of the vote and top of the ballot. He remained a North East of England congressman for consecutive months, spending the last month as a congressman for Nova Scotia. From the 8th February 2009 until the 8th of September 2009, excepting the month of June were he served as the Minister of Economics, Forseti served as Minister for Work of the United Kingdom, following on from previous Minister and fellow North-Easterner Bob Boblo. He was succeeded by Craig Rossiter.

Party Politics

Forseti became involved with The Unity Party very early in his eRepublik career, and is very popular among the community there and represented the Party in all five of his Congress terms. In April 2009 John Forseti ran for the Party Presidency of The Unity Party against incumbent leader Iain Keers, coming a close second with more than fifty votes. The election was so close that Forseti received the third highest number of votes of any candidate in the Party president elections, after Iain Keers and the unopposed PCP candidate Dan Fallows. He ran successfully for the leadership of The Unity Party in May, with 93 votes, defeating Teh User a fellow North Easterner and maintained the leadership for a second term but decided not to run for a third hoping to hand over to up-and-comer Mr Woldy, a personal friend and dedicated public servant, who indeed went on to secure the Party Presidency for two terms and appointed John Forseti as the Party Vice President.

The FDP

In mid-September 2009 John Forseti, after noting many of his greatest friends had joined an extremely minor and inactive party called The Core made some inquiries and found they were planning to establish a new party to be known as the Free Democratic Party. Although not as cool a name as The Core their ideas and principles were in some ways quite similar and attractive to his own and the prospect of seeing them reaching the top five political parties of the United Kingdom was not unwelcome. Though Forseti was not politically unhappy in The Unity Party and would not leave it, the prospect of creating a new top five party with some of the greatest friends and best minds in the country was too attractive to pass up and John has aligned in spirit with the Free Democratic Party as well as in spirit and officially with The Unity Party. However, the FDP's quick rise to prominense caused tensions, and some questioned where Forseti's loyalties lay and so he was unable to contribute to the development of the party for fear of causing a conflict of interests however these tensioned were only temporarily kept back and eventually a full disconnection had to be made.

The Real Spamicans

An unquenchable desire for lulz caused Forseti to join the Real Spamican party, at the time lead by Horice G Fossil, and eventually become its party president after receiving unanimous support in the party elections of February 15th 2010.

The Duke of Cleveland

The Coat of Arms of the House of Forseti

Forseti was proposed to the United Kingdom's House of Lords for membership by Arthur Wellesley, the Duke of Wellington on the 14th of September 2009. The vote was unanimous in favour and Lord Forseti entered the House on the 16th of September, he took the title Duke of Cleveland and set about establishing a noble House, the House of Forseti.

Military Career

The Royal Guard

Sergeant Forseti

John Forseti started in December as the Sergeant of Squad B3 of the UK's Territorial Army, or Reserves. After the reserves were reformed into the Royal Navy and Royal Guard he became Sergeant of Royal Guard Squad B2, assigned it the nickname of "the Bombers". In April 2009 The commanding officer of the Royal Guard, Brigadier Horice P. Fossil promoted John Forseti to the Colonel of the Royal Guard, second in command. Forseti worked closely with Brigadier Fossill to try and improve the activity and supply issues of the Royal Guard and on some occasions served as the acting commanding officer when Brigadier Fossill's real life commitments forced him to take time away from the New World.

The Top of the Ladder

In July 2009 Brigadier Fossill decided to retire as Commander of the Royal Guard and John Forseti was promoted to Brigadier. Working with new President Hassan Pesaran, Minister for Defence and Foreign Affairs Dishmcds and Kumnaa John Forseti set about with reforms, a new operating procedure, increasing the role and independence of Company Captains, introducing organisations and weapons companies for each Guard company as well as other plans. However, although the groundwork was laid for these reforms, unexpected developments have prevented from any work being carried out.

His return caused some confusion as to the Commanding Officer of the Royal Guard as a replacement had been appointed the day before the return, the replacement was then replaced with another replacement, CertaCito whom John Forseti had appointed as Colonel, on the day of the return and none of this had been officially announced but had simply spread along by word of mouth. Eventually, it was decided CertaCito would remain as the new Brigadier.

The United Kingdom Special Forces

With no position in government, party or the Royal Guard anymore, John Forseti joined the United Kingdom's Royal Parachute Regiment where he has served fighting battles all over the New World and has attained the rank of Logistics Officer.

Economic Career

Employment

During the early stages of John Forseti's career he pursued a variety of jobs in all three major sectors(Manufacturing, Land and Construction), becoming somewhat skilled in all of them before finally settling in the Land sector, and from approximately February to August Forseti worked for a wood company, Liverpool Forests as a skilled lumberjack. He has been quoted saying "I am a lumberjack and I am ok".

After setting up the Royal Guard's weapons factories Forseti left his long-time job in the wood industry to work there producing weapons for the troops and also increase his manufacturing skill and continued working in weapons factories for the UK armed forces until posted to Indonesia and later Russia as part of the Royal Parachute Regiment at which point he worked in the Iron mines.

Entrepreneur

John Forseti founded the holding corporation Darlington-Teesside Industrial, and bought a wood company; DTI Lumber, operating in the North West of England, the company turned a modest profit and John used this company to help new citizens of the United Kingdom learn the game and become part of the community. After a crash in the UK wood market, the company was closed down and sold off.

After the establishment of the House of Forseti a weapons company and a food company were bought, opened and operated through it. They made a modest profit before also being closed down as a lack of interest made running the companies efficiently a problem.
