Northwest Croatia (Hrvatski: Sjeverozapadna Hrvatska) is region of Croatia situated on the northwest. The capital and the largest city of the region is Varaždin which is situated in the middle of the Northwest Croatia.
Varaždin (German: Warasdin, Hungarian: Varasd, Latin: Varasdinum) is known for its baroque buildings, textile, food and IT industry. The coat of arms for Northwest Croatia is in fact the coat of arms of their capital city Varaždin.
