Page deletion

Huh, deletion? Excuse me, but I've got objections!

Here is the quote of OJ Lincoln message:

we do not add countries to the wiki unless they have been added to the game

Ekhm. There is al mentioned that Antarctica is a FICTIONAL COUNTRY, so the country which isn't added to the game by Admins. Because of that, I've added Antarctica to the Category:Fictional, but not into Category:Countries.

So, in my opinion, the deletion hasn't got any sense. But, if You still think that the deletion HAS a sense, I propose another option: Change the Antarctica - fictional country page, into Antarctic Movement - group of people who wants the creation of Antarctica.

Regards, Thomas Gorzkiewski - Emperor of Antarctica and creator of this page --Icon-Poland.png Thomas Gorzkiewski|Shout at me.

Well, for me fictional movements are interesting, so I'd be for leaving this article at wiki in unchanged form. Though, the option proposed by Gorzkiewski is also good. --Icon-Poland.png Caroline au Marymont|Talk to me. 18:02, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
Antarctica will never be added to the game. It isn't a country, it has no government. The wiki isn't a place to exercise your creative writing skills in making fake pages. --QJ Lincoln Talk To Me 22:39, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
Then why do we have EREP:FIC ? --Icon-Australia.png Timeoin|Say G'Day 04:25, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
I thought Ezekiel Thomas was the Emperor of Antarctica :P --Icon-Australia.png Sir Terrifico | ♪~Say hello to Terrifico~♪ 08:22, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Sir Terrifico - Sorry, but there's nothing on the Wiki about his "emperoring".
QJ Lincoln - If all what is fictional is "fake", so what with portugese military projects, the Goons and another FICTIONAL contents? Should we delete them? --Icon-Poland.png Thomas Gorzkiewski|Shout at me.
If we REALLY want to get technical, sand is not a game feature either, so therefore, shouldnt any references to sand be classed as fictional, too, QJ ? --Icon-Australia.png Timeoin|Say G'Day 13:46, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
You're getting carried away. It states on EREP:FIC that "Characters and events in such pages may be based in eRepublik life, but their ultimate form and configuration is a creation of the author". It also states that fictional content isn't allowed on country pages. So here we have a country page that is completely the result of the author's imagination. Yeah, it's funny but it doesn't belong here. Release this stuff in your newspaper or somewhere more appropriate than Wiki. Also, just today I learned we have a page about Taiwan which in my opinion should be removed as well. But it's a different conversation. I think this is a clear case, the page should be deleted. Portugal, goons or sand have nothing to do with it. --Icon-Finland.png Kuhaa|sTalk to me! 14:21, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Taiwan was going to be added to the game at one point, it was announced in an insider. Then the wigs changed their minds. And I think added Serbia instead. The page can be removed, I agree. Back to this issue.... Keeping this page sets a bad precident. If we allow this then what stops me from writing a page about Andorra and me saying that I am the queen and high priestess of it? What stops another user from inserting a lot of false information about his grand achievements on his citizen page. We have allowed some fictional articles in the wiki for various reasons. As Kuhaa stated, this article does not fit the fictional guidelines. --QJ Lincoln Talk To Me 15:21, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Okay, well, really its up to you and Kuhaa. You both are the Admins (SystemOps) here for a reason. But as for the Queen and High Priestess of Andorra - lets ask the Bar :D --Icon-Australia.png Timeoin|Say G'Day 16:12, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Huh, I see your point about the precident, because some players counted on it. ;) But also, I am an emperor for more than 140 people[1] (maybe they are a bigger group than active citizens of Czech Republic). So, this country isn't only "the result of the author's imagination". Those people (especially my ministers, partly the polish gov[2]) agreed to all I made here.
I undersatnd that You've got the right to delete this article, ban me etc. etc. (as the Admins). Your final decision must be also final for me. :/
Can I have say something? "High priestess" - religion isn't forbidden on the Wiki, so everybody can create a movement. And a short, easy question now: Is there any possibility that Antarctica is put on the eRepublik Wiki?
QJ Lincoln - and delete your article about Taiwan. Maybe this page deserves the place on Wiki more than mine, but still it is a stub. :] --Icon-Poland.png Thomas Gorzkiewski|Shout at me.
If there's more people behind this thing, you have a right to create a religion and ask for it's approval here. Though you'd need to do a lot of work, the Antarctica can't exist in Wiki as it currently is. Please see EREP:REL for more information about our religion policies.--Icon-Finland.png Kuhaa|sTalk to me! 13:32, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
Taiwan is a case when country was announced in eRepublik Insider, but finally wasn't added, and it shouldn't be deleted. This page should be either deleted or moved to Thomas Gorzkiewski's sandbox. --Icon-Poland.png Grzechooo drop a line 13:33, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
Oh, good idea. Can I do that? ^^ --Icon-Poland.png Thomas Gorzkiewski|Shout at me.

I'm just going to say that this article is patent nonsense and as such, claim EREP:DEL's adoption of Wikipedia:Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion and claim CSD#G1 to speedy delete this article if this isn't immediately moved by the original author to his/her userspace sandbox within 24 hours. - Jameson L.
