The Second Congress of the Philippines was the former meeting of the national legislature (Philippine Congress) of the Republic of the Philippines. The Second Congress was convened after the March 25, 2009 congressional elections, which had replace the entire membership of the First Philippine Congress Congress members of the Second Philippine Congress had served starting from March 26, 2009 until April 25, 2009.
The Second Philippine Congress stage the recovery of the Philippines. Much of the revision of the taxes was done here in order to bring the economy to its height of prosperity.
