The role Donut was best known for was as the Minister of Community. Appointed first in September 2009 her term was the first full one following a scandal under a prior minister who had initiated a Q5 house competition and given the prize to a known scammer who hadn't even entered. With a lot of support from those around her, 05637716, Patton and Edana Savage in particular, she was able to get the department going again.  She started the Irish State Community Fund, a communal bank account for the citizens of Ireland to fund any projects that the community as a whole, not the government, chose to fund and held the first Irish State Community Awards, an idea first suggested by Lord Rhindon before he'd been forced from office following the house scandal.  She also restarted the Irish lottery, which has been run most of the time since her time in office, while the Community Awards were run by many successive ministers in the department.

By then she'd finished a stay in USA - instigated when her Irish region was taken over - and was hanging out in Canada, contemplating changing her citizenship for the first time. Being a proud RL Irishwoman it took a couple of weeks to bite the bullet but after settling into her new citz she enrolled in The Crimson Order, a Canadian paramilitary group. She has since joined the TCO's PR team and taken up position of Sgt. of the fourth legion of the Crimson Canucks, Canada's branch of the TCO.

While the name on her citizen was einberliner, it was most likely you will have heard her referred to as 'Donut' or 'Einie' and it's a long-standing joke (as well as accurate observation) that until they are told very few people realise she's a she.

Biography

einberliner was born on day 603 of the New World in Wexford, Ireland. Taking her name from an Eddie Izzard routine she was quickly christened 'Donut' by Grainne Ni Mhaille, though several other citizens call her einie and she'll answer to that too. She's even been known to answer to 'the pastry' on occasion, and 'Sprinkles' pretty often.

Employment

Since the revisions to the V2 system, she's been happy to work in any company, moving through several as she travelled the eWorld until she settled in Canada, first working for private companies before leaving to join the 'slave pits' of The Crimson Order.

Politics

She was originally a member of Irish Radical Party but migrated to Independent Voices during the planned merger and stayed there even when the decision was taken to rebuild the IRP. She began her first term as a congresswoman in August 2009 and, less than two weeks into her term, was asked to take up the position of Minister at the Irish Department of Community by Patton, who had just been elected President of Ireland and was keen to run a non-partisan government. She served one term as MoC before leaving the position due to a RL vacation but returned to serve two further terms from November 2009 - January 2010, when she resigned the post to become Minister at Irish Department of Information under Ireland's first lady president, Edana Savage and to give someone else a chance at the MoC. A firm believer that it's best not to permanently be in office in order that everyone should get a chance at it she left government for a time travel and to work on expanding her military and foreign affairs knowledge. She occasionally, though never officially, helped in an advisory role during this time.

In her time between ministries she served as ambassador to Norway and Israel and in June 2010 she returned to the MoC as Co-Minister with Irish Princess and rejoined the ambassador program, this time representing Ireland to Sweden. She worked at the MoC during two more terms, one with a close friend MoonBeam and the other with seanlynch.

Minister of Community

The role Donut was best known for was as the Minister of Community. Appointed first in September 2009 her term was the first full one following a scandal under a prior minister who had initiated a Q5 house competition and given the prize to a known scammer who hadn't even entered. With a lot of support from those around her, Digits 05637716, Patton and Edana Savage in particular, she was able to get the department going again.

Military

Although she was once asked to stand for the Chief of staff position in Ireland, Donut has never taken a ministerial military position as they require more RL time commitments than she can pledge.

Her career as a soldier actually got to a very slow start as there was no war whatsoever in her first few weeks of the game but once she got a taste for fighting she poured a lot of her eMoney into ranking up as fast as possible and was one of the earliest Irish female Field Marshals (under the original system), following Nogin the nog into Na Fianna as the second girl FM (Grainne Ni Mhaille at the time held South Korean citizenship).

In her time out of Ministry she served for two months as the Commanding officer of the IDF's Munster Rangers, having been appointed by Sean Power and she was very proud that it was her home province she got to represent. Since Na Fianna as it previously existed was disbanded in preparation for Version 2 she was not officially been assigned to a division as she has spent much of her time travelling and fighting overseas but remained an IDF member until the big overhaul in the Irish Army meant re-enlisting, which she did not do. By then she'd finished a stay in USA - instigated when her Irish region was taken over - and was hanging out in Canada, contemplating changing her citizenship for the first time. Being a proud RL Irishwoman it took a couple of weeks to bite the bullet but after settling into her new city she enrolled in The Crimson Order, a Canadian paramilitary group. She has since joined the TCO's PR team and taken up position of Sgt. of the fourth legion of the Crimson Canucks, Canada's branch of the TCO.
