Add a Template
I'm creating the religion, Jediism on the wiki, someone contacted me to star the religion officially so I thought I'd make a template. I've got the template I like here: User:Gambit8/Sandbox, all I need doing is for it to be created. :D Could you create it please? :) -- Gambit 19:51 GMT, 18 May 2011
Re:Jediism
Okay, yeah I understand that, but I'd also like to point out though that Jediism is a real life official religion. It would be like rejecting a Muslim or Catholic page on the wiki as it's a 'non-religion'.
lol at Christianity getting rejected :D -- Gambit Y'know what religious people are like, they get all rage then get the police on you for some sort of racism stuff haha -- Gambit 22:10 GMT May 23rd 2011

- O.o wierd... Something must be goofy with the Template:Day template... • John F. Baker (Talk | Contribs) • 03:15, 30 May 2011 (PDT)
- It seems that
#time
parser can't understand the output for#expr
when the day is 1288 passed to the template - the output what is passed to#time
parser is 1306800000 (#time doesn't know what E+9 means ;)) I'll see what I can do. -- sampo555 | Talk 05:51, 30 May 2011 (PDT)- Lol at output of {{#expr:}}, it may be some bug in ParserFunctions -- Grzechooo drop a line 05:56, 30 May 2011 (PDT)
- It seems that
John Baker redirects...
I removed most of those and fixed the links. So if you see any problems, send me a message (or fix it yourself if it doesn't require sysop tools ;)). -- sampo555 | Talk 06:55, 31 May 2011 (PDT)
Re:Jediism
Okay, so how many followers of Jediism do I need to have the template made? -- Gambit 00:02 BST, 17th June 2011
- You will need at least 50 followers for it to get our attention and then have wiki pages set up to then move to the Namespace. -- Mikhail Alexander 16:55, 16 June 2011 (PDT)
- (Wiki page set up in your name space. i.e User:Gambit8/Jediism or w/e. Then you need to make your case in eRepublik_talk:Religion_policy and get it approved by consensus. • John F. Baker (Talk | Contribs) • 17:01, 16 June 2011 (PDT)
- Okay thanks :) Gambit 02:16 BST, 17th June 2011

state newspapers
Why did you tag all Dutch state newspapers article with deletions tags, and not marked it as stub or something else?

You changed your name?!
Since when? :D - Jameson L. Tai talkUberEditor 23:29, 24 January 2012 (PST)
- Olol, you didn't realise? Erm... ah, according to John_F_Baker#Name_Change, the 20th of May '11. Yeah, using my rl name wasn't the best idea tbh; my google results were kinda embarrassing :P • John F. Baker (Talk | Contribs) • 13:15, 25 January 2012 (PST)
- Dang, I need to think about whether or not I should change mine too then. - Jameson L. Tai talkUberEditor 00:12, 28 January 2012 (PST)
- Aha, you never thought of that? It became kinda awkward during a 'google each other' joke thing with some friends. I had to sit there and explain why there was a guy called the Lord Admiral JB MBE DSO MID etc..., from the same county and with the same fetish for the navy as me :P • John F. Ribbons
I was wondering if you had a PSD template for those awesome textured ribbons you make, or if you would be willing to tell me how they're made. I'd like to learn how. Thanks! --Malcolm Pickering Talk/Edits 17:30, 17 March 2012 (PDT)
- Hi Malcolm. I have a .psd somewhere, but doing the following will render the same result:
- Copy this file to your Photoshop document (use the file's image size for the document)
- Set that ribbon layer's blending option to "multiply"
- Create your ribbon pattern underneath that texture layer. I use vector rectangles, just make sure they're directly on-the-pixel, so you don't get fuzzy lines. Use the grid functionality if you have problems.
- Hope that helps! • John F. Baker (Talk | Contribs) • 17:50, 19 March 2012 (PDT)
Thanks, John! That really helps! --Malcolm Pickering Talk/Edits 18:26, 19 March 2012 (PDT)
New maps in Battle Row
Hello! I am planning to add maps for Ukrainian Regions. I started with Taurida but it isn't shown in Battle Row. Do they need to be added manually in the template? -- galenaandrea 04:40, 1 August 2012 (PDT)
- Hey, the battle row is set in the coding to read only images named (e.g. Map-Taurida.png/.jpg/.gif) any extension shown but it will only show that, having an image under any other name won't show because the template doesn't know it exists. -- Mikhail Alexander | Talk 06:14, 1 August 2012 (PDT)
