Nord-Norge (English: Northern- or North-Norway) is a region of Norway, located in the northern part of the country. Nord-Norge is the largest original Norwegian region in terms of area, and the capital is Tromso.

In June 2008, Mayor Gjok purchased a brand new Q4 Hospital from Universal Healthcare, a state-run hospital company. The purchase led to a baby boom in Tromso, and the population has been on a steady rise ever since, reaching its current all-time-high in December 2008 at 267 citizens.
