The Northern Russia is a region of Russia. Its capital is Arhangelsk.
Geography
The Northern Region is neighbored by the following countries/regions:
Russia - Leningrad Oblast, Urals, Moscow and Central Russia and Volga Vyatka

Russia - Western Siberia
Norway - Nord-Norge
Finland - Lapland, Oulu, and Eastern Finland
History
The region was taken over by Norway in May 2008 as a result of the Norway-Russia War. It was later taken over by Romania.
