redemption331 (19 May 2012 – 15 August 2012) was a Filipino politician, military officer, and journalist.

Personal life

Redemption was born on 19 May 2012 in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. He was the father of Boy Pick Up.

Military career

Redemption started his military career at the Philippine Military Academy. After graduating, he joined the Hukbo ng Makabayang Pilipino under Commander Vincenzo Roque. He was often deployed in wars involving the Philippines and its allies. His highest damage in a single campaign was 333,686 for Chile against Argentina in Zona Sur on 7 July 2012.

Political career

Redemption was a loyal member of the Kilusan ng Makabayang Pilipino. On 29 May 2012, he publicly endorsed Party President Lacon Yan for the June 2012 presidential elections.[1] Lacon Yan would lose to J Grey of A New Hope, but Redemption still declared his willingness to cooperate with the new administration. He was appointed as Ambassador of the Philippines to Russia under Minister of Foreign Affairs John Jurassic. He would published a single report on Russia during his tenure.[2]

June 2012 congress elections

A day after losing to Zlesti in the June 2012 party elections, Redemption announced his intention to run for congress.[3] However, the Philippines was without any regions during his announcement. This changed eventually, and congress elections pushed through for the month. Two days before the elections, he endorsed every candidate of his party.[4] On the day of the elections, he wrote an article where he proposed to fellow party members that they should distribute their votes evenly among their candidates in future congress elections. This was to strengthen the chances of the Kilusan ng Makabayang Pilipino getting majority of the seats in congress.[5] Redemption lost the elections after garnering only one vote.

July 2012 congress elections

Redemption served as Assistant People's Commissariat for Military Affairs in July 2012 under Premier DrummerMike.[6] He ran again for party presidency of the Kilusan ng Makabayang Pilipino where he lost to Paul Delos Santos. Redemption then immediately declared his candidacy for the upcoming congress elections.[7] Among his platforms were ending the war with Indonesia while subsequently beginning a conquest of Thailand. He was unsuccessful in his bid once again, placing fiftieth among sixty candidates.

Death and legacy

Redemption was permanently banned on 11 August 2012 for administering multiple accounts. His son, Boy Pick Up, became a successful politician in the Philippines. On 24 May 2013, Boy Pick Up fulfilled his father's dreams after he took over as President of the Philippines following the impeachment of NinoBitpazarec.[8] Five months later, he held the office once more after defeating Kristijanmkd93 in the elections.[9] On 25 April 2020, Boy Pick Up was proclaimed as King of the Philippines by the Office of the Royal Scribe.[10]
