Daphne Lilac was a citizen of USA, businesswoman and politician. She is a congress member from Colorado and former Party president of the Libertarian Party.
Early life
Born April 1, 2008, Daphne Lilac originally hails from Austin, Texas. She moved to Saint Paul and later to Honolulu during the Canadian war. She was one of the first Mayors of Hawaii for two terms now. She has honed her manufacturing skills, primarily producing moving tickets.
Background
Daphne is a biracial American woman, one foot on one continent and another in America, wondering about this experiment called life. She is officially a music-junkie, given that title back in the summer of 1995.
History
Early career
When Daphne was first introduced into eRepublik, she took to the mechanics and social environment of the game. She started just before the USA-Canada War commenced. Her initial feelings were against the war, but she proved to be a good soldier. This is when she first caught the eye of then Secretary of Defense, Dishmcds. She rose through the ranks of the Department of Defense, and was appointed to better organizing the army halfway through the war to better fit the mechanics of the war module.
When Dishmcds won the Presidency in June 2008, Daphne was appointed his Chief of Staff. Her outward personality made her his choice for the job, as her primary responsibility was to ensure that the other agencies were doing their jobs correctly. Her upfront style has always made her a success, as she isn't afraid to stir things up when standards are not met.
Vice Presidency
When Dish won his second Presidential term in July, she was appointed his Vice President, replacing Lucios Nava who had seemingly gone inactive. Daphne and Dish became close personal friends through their continued involvement, and relied on each other in times of crisis or important decision.
Military career
When Dishmcds stepped down as leader of the Department of Defense towards the end of the war, she served a short time under interim appointment Benn Dover. She was in the running for the head of the National Security Council - now known as the Department of Defense - but decided that she didn't have the time or energy necessary to put into an important assignment.
Presidency
She ran for President in October 2008, but lost to the United States Workers Party candidate, Roby Petric. Upon losing, she retired for a couple of months, into a life of solitude, but has kept in touch with some of her old friends. In April, she spent time as Mexico's First Lady as a result of her marriage to former husband Dishmcds.
Revived political career
Daphne resurfaced in the Spring of 2009, running for congress in Maine, but lost the bid. In June, she was elected to the US Congress by the people of Colorado. She won her re-election bid in Colorado in July, but Colorado has since been occupied by Russia.
In August 2009, she succeeded Claire Littleton as Libertarian Party president, assuming power of the second-largest party in the USA. At the time the party's national influence was faltering as a result of some party reputation tarnishing from the former president. Daphne spent the next two month working to re-invigorate the party, and groom its next generation of leadership. In October 2009 Daphne's party Vice-President DanielCD succeeded her as the next Party president, she then for fear of becoming a back seat driver left the party to assume a position as Director of Communications for the United States Workers Party
Press director
Daphne uses her newspaper, The Lucid Dreamer, primarily as a medium to communicate with her constituents. Many of her older works have been deleted - the contents of which are known to few people today.
Business Career
Daphne was the founder and President of Mint Incorporated, headquartered on the beautiful shores of Hawaii. Mint Incorporated acquired a Texas-based weapon company from Libertarian Party President Nave Saikiliah, which was used to supply the government. Stiletto Weaponry, as she renamed it, was upgraded to Q3 soon after the Q3 upgrade was added to the game, one of the first companies to do so. Originally supplying only the USA government, it later supplied the needs of all Americans and Brazilians; operations have ceased due to the occupation of Texas by Indonesia.Marriage
Daphne was married to Dishmcds for many months, but their romantic relationship faded and they got divorced on July 22, 2009. This opened the door for many suitors to pursue Daphne's hand in marriage, and she eventually married Dale Marks on August 17, 2009.
