About Xavier
Xavier Griffith (XG) was a citizen and politician of Australia.
He was involved in the reconstruction of Australia, has been elected to the Senate for 17 terms.
He held the position of Speaker of the Senate for 4 Terms, Deputy Speaker of the Senate for 1 Term.
He was also the Australian Prime Minister for 2 Terms.
Xavier founded the Australian Independents Party (AIP) to provide Australians who didn't fit into any of the existing parties a voice in the Australian political scene.
Xavier was well known for his centrist political stance and is well respected by all sides of the Australian political spectrum. He was a strong voice in the separation of the Senate and Executive Government which has proved very successful over the terms.
