Chungcheongnam-do is a region in South Korea. It was one of the regions freed during the South Korean Independence War. The region's capital is Daejeon.

Chungcheongnam-do was one of three regions to remain in South Korea up until the JaSKo union. On September 7, 2009 freedom fighters from the Theocratic group opened up three resistance wars after they initially won Gyeonggi-do. While their initial region was won in a battle with Japan, the resistance war in Chungcheongnam-do succeeded and it was freed and is currently the capital of South Korea.
