History

The Northern Alliance was formed on January 15, 2008. On 27 February 2008 Norway left the Northern Alliance. In 2008 the New World was divided into 4 main alliances:

  • The Northern Alliance which consisted of the Nordic countries and their conquests, as well as the UK, Ireland and Romania.
  • The Formidable International Security Treaty (FIST) made up of Asian nations.
  • The Mediterranean Alliance consisting mainly of nations in Southern Europe, as well as the Netherlands and Canada.
  • PANAM consisting of most of the countries in the Americas.

By July, the Mediterranean Alliance had effectively ceased to exist, with the two halves splitting off to join the other groups. Spain and Canada, as well as most of the Northern and PANAM members decided to form a new alliance, ATLANTIS. Talks between the leaders of FIST and the remaining Mediterranean nations also culminated in a new alliance, PEACE GC, to counter it.

The treaty of the Northern Alliance was dissolved by its member nations due to the formation of the ATLANTIS alliance.
