USA-Spain War
The USA-Spain War was a trans-Atlantic conflict between the USA and Spain. It was part of both the North American and Western European fronts of World War V.
The conflict was primarily between the ONE and Terra alliances.
On June 18, 2011 combined ONE forces from Spain, Sweden, Poland, Hungary, and ONE-aligned Indonesia began a major offensive in North America known as the ONE World Tour. The USA-Spain War continued to rage as one of the coordinated five front invasion.

Background
The war was a result of the USA attempting to relieve some of the pressure that France was experiencing during the Third Spain-France War, in which the country of France was being attacked by Spain in the south and Poland in the north. At the time of the initial USA assault, France had been effectively cut in half by joint ONE-allied forces. France, a member of the Terra alliance, was in desperate need of assistance by its allies.
Portugal, a Terra member, was also in need of assistance and the USA had secured territories in Europe through a previous training war between the two countries.
At the same time, Brazil had engaged Spanish forces during the Brazil-Spain War in a joint Terra attack upon the Spanish homeland.
Though Terra forces initially made significant headway into Spain, eventually ONE forces were able to repel the attack and take the initiative with a simultaneous Spanish invasion of North of Brazil and Maryland on April 6, 2011.
After a series of successful counter-attacks by joint Terra and EDEN forces from April 16 thru April 18, the USA took the initiative and began attacking the Spanish mainland in a coordinated attack with Brazil during the simultaneous Brazil-Spain War.
On April 20th Spain would once again attack the USA mainland in Virginia after two days of fighting in the Spanish mainland and then push further west into the USA.
By April 25th, Spanish forces crossed the Mississippi River, occupying Missouri and then turning south into Tennessee.
Spain continued its attack into the American South, but on April 27th the USA began the slow process of liberating its Spanish-held regions after a successful defense during the battle of Mississippi. In the days prior, US forces had been largely allocated to assisting Terra and EDEN allies in other theaters of the war, particularly in the Poland-Brazil War and had sacrificed territory to support its allies. Once Poland had been ejected from Brazil and the Western Hemisphere, and Serbia had been denied entry into North America during the Serbia-Russia War, the United States could began focusing once again on its wars with Spain and Mexico in the concurrent Mexico-USA War.
On May 2, the USA would once again invade the Spanish mainland by attacking Galicia in a trans-Atlantic operation. Meanwhile, the USA regions still under Spanish occupation would become liberated by resistance wars, with the exclusion of Indiana.

Second US Invasion of Spain
Eventually the USA was able to liberate most of its regions, with the exclusion of Indiana. After weeks of fighting, the US was able to make some headway into Spain's homeland, however, Spain continued to counterattack. During this time the US blocked Spain from attacking Brazil during the concurrent Brazil-Spain War. This was done primarily as a defense maneuver due to the fact that Brazil was facing a potential full Spanish occupation and skirmishes with neighboring South American countries.

Third Spanish Invasion of USA
As the war continued in Europe, Spain began heavy counterattacks against the US, managing to also maintain control of Indiana. Spain then launched another invasion of its own by occupying Virginia on May 31, 2011. By June 4th, Spain had reestablished control in the European theater and began a full offensive against the USA, pushing swiftly into the American Mid-West.
Facing little resistance, Spain reached the Mississippi River on June 7th and then pressed further west, eventually reaching the Continental Divide on June 11, 2011.

Outcomes
Technically the war would continue to rage, however, with the introduction of four other ONE powers into the conflict the entire North American theater would escalate into a full invasion, the likes of which had not been seen since World War III. For only the second time in its history, the USA faced a potential full wipe from the map.
