Biography

• Origins Alexander Hamilton joined eRepublik in the Spring of 2008. Hamilton was interested in increasing his wealth and gaining some political influence in Wisconsin. These were prosperous times for Hamilton; Nave Saikiliah was president and USA-Canada War was coming to a close.

• Early Life It was as a foreign mercenary fighting for Switzerland's survival against invading French & Italians that Hamilton became disillusioned. After Switzerland was defeated, Hamilton returned to Wisconsin; where his wounds were not taken care of. Alexander Hamilton died sometime in the summer of 2008.

• Rebirth Alexander Hamilton was reborn in April of 2009 with a renewed interest in eRepublik has led Hamilton to take a more active presence in Wisconsin and America.

Second Life

Alexander Hamilton soon left Wisconsin for the Q5 Hospital state of New Jersey where he could participate in the Baja training exercises more effectively. Alexander was particularly interested in the political and business aspects of eRepublik. Since he did not feel he quite had a grasp on game mechanics at the time, Alexander started Hamilton Investment Bank.

Congress

Alexander Hamilton campaigned for and was elected to Congress by the good people of Rhode Island. It was August and the Great War of 2009 was just getting underway. Hamilton entered the hallowed boards of Congress expecting the rancorous partisan infighting he had been told about. However the invasion of North America had begun to change the political climate of the USA; political parties became irrelevant in face of invasion.

Hamilton decided not to run for another term, reasoning that more experienced players should be elected to lead the USA in its darkest hours. Were it not for Habraka Abrivianius Alexander would not have served a second term. Late August 2009 Habraka was considered a PEACE infiltrator attempting to get elected to the US Congress. Alexander Hamilton offered himself as a "blocking" candidate so that a party president could exclude Habraka from running. Due to game mechanics however, when Russia conquered Maine the ten candidates with the highest experience points were automatically elected; all with 0 votes. Hence Senat0r.

Federalist Party

Hamilton initially joined the United States Workers Party, it being the largest party at the time, but Hamilton's destiny lay with another party. It started simply enough, Alexander was commenting on a news article when a Federalist Party member named Blue Holt inquired as to why Alexander Hamilton having chosen such and esteemed Avatar name did not belong to his real life namesake's party of the early nineteenth century.

The Federalist's are a very easy bunch of people to get along with. Offering advice on game mechanics, eRepublik politics, and anything one could think to ask. Despite Hamilton's somewhat vainglorious reasons for joining the Federalist Party, he realized what an excellent choice he made in joining the Feds.

Trying to once again become more active in the game Alexander has accepted Federalist Party President Fingerguns offer to become Chief Wiki Editor for the Federalist Party. Alexander is currently a member of the Federalist Party's leadership, for some reason members think he is an active party member. So it was with great humility that Alexander accepted Party President Greene12's offer to join the Federalist Forum's administration team.

Alexander ran for Party President in June of 2010, however he withdrew from the race before the election due to obligations to his job as White House Chief of Staff. Alexander was offered the position of Vice President in Federalist Party President David Landon's administration. He has continued to be an active voice inside the Party on many issues.

Chocolate McSkittles

Alexander Hamilton served as President Chocolate McSkittles Chief of Staff throughout his June 2010 term. Alexander continued the policy of the previous Chief of Staff St Krems collecting departmental reports to address the needs of the various executive departments.

It was with his selection of Alexander Hamilton that Chocolate McSkittles propelled Alexander onto the national stage. Hamilton moved from dealing with Party issues to talking with foreign leaders and hounding department heads for reports. It was with his rise in national prominence that sparked rumors of whether or not Hamilton would run for Country President; rumors which Alexander has repeatedly downplayed and stated his intention not to run.

Alexander Hamilton joined eRepublik during the height of the Can-Am War and immediately tried fighting for the USA from Wisconsin, which at the time only had a Q1 hospital. Eventually he got some knowledge and moved to Hawaii, which had the only Q3 hospital in America at the time. Alexander was unable to win a single fight throughout the course of the war.

With the Can-Am war over Alexander was still jonesing hard to fight. He read that Switzerland was under attack on two fronts, by France and Italy. Spurred to action Alexander quit his job, party, and sold his first newspaper to move to Switzerland. Unfortunately Switzerland was overrun, Alexander moved back to Wisconsin a broken soldier.

Alexander was approached by Josh Frost via in game message about joining a new militia Frost was starting up. Hamilton was an obvious recruit as he was a  Field Marshal with moderate strength who was not in the military. Alexander fought with his fellow Wolverines in all of the daring resistance war attempts that made Seal Team 6 famous. Hamilton even participated in the famous joint Romanian/Seal Team 6 operation to put Belgium back on the map. However everything must come to an end and sometime in late October or early November of 2009 Alexander Hamilton resigned from Seal Team 6.

Hamilton decided to apply to the United States Marine Corps in June of 2010. He was accepted into the Marines on June 26th, 2010 as a member of Charlie Company 2nd Platoon Lucky's Magnificent Bastards.
