Janko Fran is a citizen of Croatia, formerly citizen of both Egypt and Cuba. Janko was the founder, leader and a member of 'Legion etrangere arabe - LEA' (Arab Foreign Legion) military unit, as well as one of the founders of Macedonian Foreign Legion. Much of his work has been dedicated to journalism.
Biography
Janko Fran joined eRepublik at the very end of October 2009, when he saw a Facebook ad with the invitation. That was a time when the Croatian region Slavonia was attacked, and soon he was recruited in the military unit Vatreni Gušteri, squad X. Later, when he filled requirements, he joined Croatian army, 4th Brigade, where he was sent by recommendation of his commander Raquelors.
He started 'READeR USeR LINKeR' newspapers and became a journalist, writing interviews with famous Croatian players, covering military and political events in Croatia and around it, and writing tutorials, plans, strategy articles and boosting Croatian moral.
During this period he has been constantly investing in the business and running several joint venture companies. That follows some period of low activity, but soon enough he returns to active playing.
After some time he joined Bojna za specijalna djelovanja (BSD) paramilitary unit upon invitation by eTomislav, former President of Croatia and, at that time, his business partner. Janko Fran helped with the BSD logistics by planning the expansion of production for BSD. It is interesting to note that Janko Fran shared the same unit (BSD) with the eRepublik no. 1 player Romper (as well as other Croatian players).
Soon Janko Fran joined the Croatian Ministry of Information team where he wrote several battlefield reports and military analyses.
After writing an article about a newly added Arab country of Egypt, he was recommended by Josx to help the Croatian-Arabic ATO team in Egypt as a new Minister of Information. So he left all his companies to BSD, packed and went there to help Arabs against PTO[1][2].
He became a citizen of Egypt in February 2010 by recommendation of Josx, Croatian ex-Minister of Information and has been very active in the political life of Egypt. He participated in Government of Egypt President Heboo as Egypt Minister of Information in 2 terms and as an adviser of the CP. After Varlosh became president, Janko Fran continued his work in the Egyptian Government in the positions of Minister of Information, Minister of Information and Communication Technology and vice Minister of Defense, respectively.
He also bought off a deserted Military Unit in Egypt and founded Legion etrangere arabe - LEA, Arab Foreign Legion[3], which was fighting and helping Egypt to have stronger military forces.
After being elected 3 times as a congress member, where he served terms in order to set an example to other players and Congress members and after being invited to the Government of Egypt in terms of Pitlja666 and ebreake as the Minister of Economic Development of Egypt, he returned to his homeland to help to liberate Croatia.
