Palawan is a region in Philippines and its capital is Puerto Princesa.

History

The region was once the site of a Q5 Hospital and Q1 Defense System. They were destroyed after the US occupied the region in order to prevent a Serbian political take-over.

Palawan boast as the premier economic region of the Philippines due to its high oil deposits.

It is also the most active populous region of the Philippines. The increase of the population was due to the deployment of the Q5 Hospital in August 2009. Since then, the population kept growing. Though, somehow the population will drop in the future as the Q5 Hospital was destroyed and the new Q5 Hospital is currently deployed in Visayas. A Visayan population boom was expected to follow.
