Visayas (simplified Chinese: 维萨亚斯), also known as the Isle of Gold to early Greeks, is a region of the Philippines. Visayas was said to be derived from the early Indonesian empire Sri Vijaya, of which the Visayan islands were tributary. Its capital is Cebu.

Visayas was the once the site of the first Q4 hospital in the Philippines. However it was destroyed after Malaysia occupied the region in order to block Indonesian forces. However the region was then returned after a short period of time.

It was again occupied by an another country, now by USA, in March 25, 2010 in order to stop the Serbian political take-over. The region was returned afterwards.
