The Australian National Party is a center right, libertarian party located in Australia.
History
It was founded by calibur in December of 2008. Beginning off as nothing more than a minor party, the ANP has grown to become the largest party in Australia. The party has always been in doubt by members of other parties and is constantly being questioned as to the legitimacy of the party that is until the first Australian Congressional elections. During these elections, the ANP received the largest hold of power with 40% of the electorate and 8 congressmen. After that event, party membership swelled to what it stands at today. Party President calibur, along with the help of the council, has created the Party Constitution which outlined the official way to run the party and the beliefs of the ANP.
November and December 2009 saw ANP claim the most senators in the Senate, making the party a major force in Australia again. March 25th 2010 sir_c0nstant becomes the ANP's first country president after Cerb was impeached. He followed up by becoming CP again in June when Widdows9000 resigned. July 25th 2010 sir_c0nstant become the countries choice as ATO candidate to challenge the PTO and came 2nd as thus become the CP in exile.
The party was briefly PTOed in September 2010, where it underwent two name changes. It was promptly recovered and renamed in October.

The Constitution of the Australian National Party
We the members of this Australian National Party do, hereby declare that all citizens within this party are equal. No member of the party can infringe on another individual's freedom of speech. With this taken into account, the Constitution is as presented:
Council of the Australian National Party and Their Powers
Party President - It is the Job of the Party President to make sure that all dealings of the party are completed. He is the head of the party and will appoint the separate positions of Vice President, and Party Managers/Advisors. The Party President does not have to be a member of the Congress. However, the Party President should have a hand in rallying and reaching compromises with the Party's Congressmen. The Party President must tend to members within his party in order to make sure that their experience in this game is as simple and fun as possible. It is also the Party Presidents and Vp’s duty to keep the forums tidy and ensure that rules aren’t infringed.
Vice President of the Party - The Vice President of the Party is second in command of the Party and will assume command, including all responsibilities, should something happen to the Party President. He may serve as an advisor to the Party President and will help preside over the Congress. The Vice President must be a Congressman. He will lead the Party in Congress should the Party President, for whatever reason, not be in Congress.
Party Managers/Advisors - PM/As are personal advisors to the President of the Party and help the Party President run the party. There will be 1 PM/As for every 50 members of the party. The PM/As will also help the Party President send out mass messages. They do not hold any more power than they would as regular members of the party, or as a trusted colleague of the Party President.
No individual may hold more than one of the above roles.
Impeachment and Removal Should any member of the Council be declared to be unfit they will be removed by a majority vote of the members of the Party and a two thirds vote by members of the PP‘s council. The Party President or Vice President may be removed by the methods mentioned above. They may also be impeached if their conduct outside of normal party business is considered undesirable of a member of the council.
Policy The Australian National Party is a center right party. It supports the privatization of companies, and the preservation of a free market. It fights to minimize government interference and regulation of the Australian economy, as well as to preserve the individual freedoms of the individual. Its members believe wholeheartedly in keeping the central government and its powers as small as possible.
However, the Australian National Party does support aiding individuals and industries through social programs in some circumstances, albeit few. We believe that we can have both Governments owned companies and private companies with more emphasis on private companies. However, governments can never be allowed to override the balance a free market provides. A union between Capitalism and Socialism can exist. It is our job to make sure that Socialism can be checked, balanced, and monitored.
Rights of the Members of the Party
- All members are free and equal
- No member will ever be denied any freedom, including that of freedom, press, religion, petition, and assembly
- There will be no foul language in the forums or messages. Any member of the Party who is to use any slur or any kind against another member will be immediately kicked out of the party. His forum profile will be deleted.
- Members are to be loyal to the nation, and, therefore, people of Australia first, their party second.
- No matter the result of any election the Prime Minister is the head of government, and he will be respected as such.
- Members will conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. This includes abstaining from making any slanderous accusations against a member of this party or another party without proof.
- Vote buying is not allowed, and any congress member who is found to have bought votes will not be recognized by the ANP and will lose forum rights.
Changing the Constitution
The Constitution can only be changed with a Constitutional Amendment presented in the Party forums. Once an Amendment is proposed there will be a 5 day debate in the "Members Section" to which the Council will vote. 3/4 of the Council must approve of the Amendment to be approved. If the Council passes it, the Constitutional Amendment is then voted on by the members of the party in general. 51% of the Members is all that is needed to approve or deny an Amendment.
