Greece (Greek: Ελλάδα, Elláda), officially the Hellenic Republic (Ελληνική Δημοκρατία, Ellīnikī́ Dīmokratía) is a country in southeastern Europe, located in the southernmost portion of the Balkan Peninsula. It borders Albania, Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) and Bulgaria to the north, Turkey to the east, Cyprus and Israel to the south-east, Egypt to the south and Italy to the west. The Aegean Sea lies to the east and is a natural border with Turkey, the Ionian Sea to the west and is the natural border with Italy an the Lybian Sea to the south and is the natural border with Egypt.

In late 2008, Greece was brought into the Formidable International Security Treaty through the actions of John Daker and AgentChieftain. When FIST dissolved with the creation of the PEACE Global Community, Greece became a founding member and signatory of PEACE until its occupation by Turkey. Following Greek independence in early 2009, Greece was a passive member of ATLANTIS until that alliance's dissolution. Greece is now a member of EDEN.
