Once he came of age, young Sigurd joined the Binary Party and soon after ran for congress.
After having brief residence in South Africa, Australia, Philippines and Singapore, he moved back to Sorlandet, where he resided until August 2010, when he moved back to the Philippines after a month of inactivity after the release of V2. He has been a citizen since then until the last period of his life, when he returned to Norway. He owned several raw materials companies in the Philippines.

Shortly after he joined new Norwegian government, under new President Eris Caelestis, as Minister of Public Relations. However, due to his inactivity in the Norwegian forums and IRC he was suspected as a potential Enemy of the State by some leading figures in the country.

On return to Norway, he joined Scorpicus' new party, Xenibalurd Party, which the "urd" part is from his first name. Later on, he joined Teknokratene and was elected to Congress for April, May and June and was given the job as Minister of Foreign Affairs by President Freke.
In July he became the Party president of the Xenibalurd Party and renamed it the Independent Alliance. This was to be a party for those who felt that they were not represented by any of the current parties. However, the party was the target of a Russian PTO while he was on holiday.
When he returned to the Philippines for the second time, he joined the Neutral Philippines Movement. He was a member of the Philippines congress from September to November 2010, and again from December 2010.
In April 2011, he was elected president of the party Bayan Muna and reformed it into the Philippine Progressive Party.

In September 2011 he was selected as Vice president by his wife and President of the Philippines, Marie von Gablitz.
November 2011 he was elected party president of Partido Kalikasan ng Pilipinas and has served 2 consecutive terms as its president
In December 2011 he was elected President of the Philippines.
