Partido Sosyalistang Ganap (English: Completely Socialist Party), abbreviated as PSG, was a far-left political party in the Philippines. Founded by Al Raposas, the Partido Sosyalistang Ganap was the third-largest party in the country.

History

Partido Sosyalistang Ganap was founded on 21 April 2013 by Al Raposas, publishing a party manifesto to announce its formation.[1]

Liana Paldrov presidential campaign

On 2 May 2013, Al Raposas announced Liana Paldrov as PSG's candidate for the May 2013 presidential election.[2]

Bribing controversy

Vincenzo Roque, party president of Kilusan ng Makabayang Pilipino, confronted Al Raposas after Partido Sosyalistang Ganap began offering fifteen pesos as a welcome gift to new members. Raposas defended the practice, explaining how PSG was merely incentivizing people to join their party. Furthermore, Raposas claimed that no one had availed of the welcome gift since it was initiated. Raposas ultimately decided to end the incentive program to clear the party of any claims of bribery.

Ideology

The ideology of the party came into question after Vasili Zaytsev, former party president of the Revolutionary Socialist Party, claimed that a socialist party cannot be socialist without being revolutionary.
