He was married to Helia, Lady of Essex. John is Former BDP President for several terms, UK Ministry of Foreign Affairs diplomat for several terms, Shadow MoFA, member of parliament and has served as Deputy MoFA.

On November the 19th 2010, John got married to Helia in London, UK.
John Rupert Miranda and Helia have been ordained by His Britannic Majesty, King Woldy as Lord of Essex and Lady of Essex respectively on November the 20th 2010.
Politics
John ran for parliament elections on the 25th of July, 2010, gaining considerable support and enthusiasm from the community. But was defeated.
On July, the 27th 2010 Miranda resigned from the SDP due to his disappointment with the SDP leadership and more importantly, the outcome of the Parliamentary elections. The lack of organization made many important members resign and join other parties. Thus he joined TRD.
On august the 7th 2010, Miranda was appointed by the UK Minister of Foreign Affairs as Ambassador of UK in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Venezuela.

On August the 15th, 2012 John won the UKRP Presidential elections.
