Newspaper can be selected from your profile page or community menu.
- If you do not own a newspaper, this page will provide you with the option to create one.
- If you do own a newspaper, this page will give you the ability to manage and write articles.
Citizens and organizations can own newspapers. Editors must pay close attention to the Rules, especially what constitutes spam as listed in the Rules Addendum.
Create a Newspaper
- Click the Create Newspaper button to view the Create Newspaper screen.
- The screen shows the amount of Gold you have and the requirements needed to create a newspaper.
2 GOLD - Experience level 9 (130 Experience points)
- Type a unique name for your newspaper (6 to 25 characters)
- only letters, numbers and ! # $ % * ? | . / ^ { } ` ~ & ' + - = _ are allowed.
- Add a picture for an avatar
The newspaper owner can change the name or the avatar at any time for free.
Manage Your Newspaper
When you go to your newspaper homepage, you can see from the top left to the top right:
- The logo with small icon of a country where articles are published
- Newspaper name
- Name of the newspaper's press director
- Link to the latest news from your newspaper's country
- Link to the newspaper rankings of newspaper's country
- Link to the newspaper's wiki page.
- Number of Subscribers
- Write article button
- Clicking the button will lead you to "Write article" page.
- Every article will have an Edit and a Delete button. They're only available to the newspaper owner for a limited time of 30 days since the publication[1].
Edit newspaper information
- Clicking that button, you will be able to change the newspaper's name, avatar or description, and you can do it for free.
Just below the top, there is another section that holds the About my newspaper section if there is a newspaper description and below that one is the section with written articles, starting from the last one written.
Important information
- Articles will be listed with the most recent first and with 5 articles per page. You can edit or delete an article from this page, only within 30 days after the article's publication. Published articles will be visible on the News page.
- Players can arrange for informal jobs, such as journalist or editor. Actual publication remains controlled by the newspaper owner.
- Citizens reading an article are able to endorse the article.
Missions
There are three missions related to the newspaper:
- Create a newspaper
- Junior Journalist; write an article that receives comments from at least 25 citizens.
- Senior Journalist; write three articles that receive comments from at least 25 citizens.
Achievements

If a citizen's newspaper reaches 1000 subscribers, the newspaper's owner will earn the Media Mogul Achievement and  5 GOLD as a reward.
