The Armed Forces of the Philippines (Filipino: Sandatahang Lakas ng Pilipinas, abbreviated AFP), sometimes referred before as the Invincible and Untouchable Armed Forces of the Philippines is under the command of the President, relegating orders to the Ministry of Defense. The purpose of this body is to coordinate and fight as one for the nation and their allies.
Contents
History
The Armed Forces of the Philippines was founded by Big Boy Bulley (the second President of Philippines) and HazzN (first Director of Defense) in April 2009.
Until the arrival of the Military Unit in the military module, The Armed Forces of the Philippines was split into four units:
- Philippines Army - Home Defense Unit
- Special Operations - Elite Home Defense Unit
- Philippine Navy - Mobile Attack Unit
- Philippine Marine Corp - Elite Mobile Attack Unit
In May, the units were split into four, each controlled by its own Commanding Officer.
Philippine Army
The Philippine Army (Filipino: Hukbong Katihan ng Pilipinas, abbreviated PA) is the first of the Home Defense Units. Anyone who can do between 50-120 damage can join the Philippines Army to help defend their home soils.
The PA is ideal for anyone pursuing a political career and would not like to leave the country. PA members will never be asked to move abroad. They will however be supplied with weapons, and gifts if required to ensure that the home nation is properly protected.
Special Operations
Any PA member who can do more than 120 damage will be promoted into the Special Operations team (Filipino: Natatanging Lakas, abbreviated SO). SO members can expect higher quality weaponry as well as wellness packs for tanking.
These men and women are the best of the best and choose to stay at home and defend the Philippines from attack.
Formerly known as the Philippine Naval Fleet, the Philippine Navy (Filipino: Hukbong Dagat ng Pilipinas, abbreviated PN) is for soldiers who can provide between 50 and 120 damage. This will be a mobile unit, who might be based both overseas or at home. Weapons and travel tickets will be provided during the conflict. Regular training missions abroad are also available to those who enjoy fighting.
Philippine Marine Corp
The Philippine Marine Corp (Filipino: Hukbong Kawal Pandagat ng Pilipinas, abbreviated PMC) is only available to those who can produce 120+ damage. Benefits of moving up to the PMC include improved weapon quality, more active duty abroad and the opportunity for tanking. Once again, regular training missions abroad will take place. The PMC will be at the front line of any overseas war that the Philippines is participating in.
At the end of 2011, after the introduction of Military units into the game, the AFP became a real in-game military unit.
During the end of 2011 to the beginning of 2012, reforms were passed as to make the AFP into a training school for players below the rank of Captain. Therefore, only the PMA is left of the AFP.
July 2012, more reforms were done to AFP to create an elite squad of soldiers belonging to Divisions 3 and 4. This was called Philippine Special Forces which was renamed to New People's eArmy on September 2012.

Philippine Military Academy |
The Philippine Military Academy (Filipino: Akademiyang Militar ng Pilipinas, abbreviated PMA) was founded by HazzN shortly after he took the role as Director of Defense. This school is for any citizen of the Philippines who can not do enough damage to enrol into any of the Military Units. It is one of the two branches of AFP being used now, along with the New People's eArmy.
The Philippine Military Academy aims to train and prepare soldiers for battle, by sending troops out on regular training missions, giving guidance and advice on how best to maintain wellness, as well as providing food and weapons when required. Academy students get the chance to learn from the best and eventually, be the best. Before, once a student can do 50 damage, they will graduate from the Academy, and have the option to move onward with their military career. They will have the choice of joining the Philippine Army, or the Philippine Naval Fleet, and continue to do their bit for the country. Now, a student should reach the rank of Captain before being able to graduate and join other military units, but they can opt not to leave the academy. |
Philippine Special Forces |
The Philippine Special Forces (Filipino: Natatanging Lakas ng Pilipinas, abbreviated PSF) was founded by former Minister of Defense Destroyer S87 in July 2012 shortly after the changes (Divisions) to the military module were made, and renamed by the Socialist Government to the current name to reflect their political ideology. This military unit is for citizens of the Philippines with level not lower than 30 (Division 3 or 4). It is one of the two original branches of AFP being used then, along with the Philippine Military Academy.
The PSF aims to easily coordinate the strong (Div 3 & 4) soldiers in the Philippines to fight for allies and to be ready when the nation enters a war. These soldiers regularly receive food and weapons from the government, especially when there are important wars. |
