Stancel became a citizen of eRepublik on Day 572 (June 14th, 2009), in the USA, and then lived for some time in Austria and the Netherlands before moving back to the USA.
Biography
The early days
Stancel first was briefly a member of the SFP Young Socialists before he could join a political party. Stancel then joined the Socialist Freedom Party and helped to elect their candidates. On August 1, he became the US Ambassador to Slovakia.
He advanced to V1 Corporal in rank fighting mainly in the war games between the USA and Ireland. He fought in defense of North America in the Great War of 2009, and advanced to V1 Sergeant, then to V1 Lieutenant, and V1 Captain. He served in the SFP Bear Cavalry, the paramilitary group of the Socialist Freedom Party fighting resistance wars in Russian-occupied US states. On August 27th, he became the SFP Director of Elections.

Stancel decided to move to Austria in early September. On September 8, he advanced to V1 Colonel. After Stancel gained Dutch citizenship, he joined the Workers Party. He was elected to Congress in July 2010.
Return to America
In 2012, Stancel returned to the United States and became a citizen of the USA. He re-joined the Socialist Freedom Party. He then joined the United States Workers Party.
