The Language used in the Turkish Government is Turkish. Although the Turkish Media predominantly communicates in Turkish, minorities often write articles in English.

National Anthem

The official anthem of Turkey is İstiklal Marşı (Independence March).

The first marriage in Turkey took place on March 19th, 2008, between giselle and ultraslanzh.[1]

The second one took place on September 16th, 2008, between PrincessMedyPi and tekyoldevrim.[2]

There have been instances of media censorship in eTurkey, specifically a clampdown on using "Ataturk" in a disparaging way. This came to a head in early August 2008 in an incident referred to as The Ataturk Ultimatum.

eRepublik TV

One of the first television broadcasts in eRepublik was done in Turkey. "eRepublik TV" was founded by D&B Media Company. And burakkocamis manages Turkeys first television.

The first one was in a different nation during the months of May, June and July.

Sports

FIFA

Turkey is also the proud country where the first sport originated. Football has originated in the new world from Turkey. Football was played by Turkish people for a long time and then it was introduced to the rest of the world. Everyone loved the game football in the new world and it quickly became popular as the first sport in the new world. Srachit has been given the job to make the wiki pages for FIFA the governing body of Football. A lot of work has been done on the wiki pages of FIFA already but as it is a massive project it is taking time. Information on football can be found here.
