Basic concepts: Military rank • Aircraft rank • Strength • Damage • Influence • Weapon • Booster • Battlefield • Ground battle • Aircraft battle |
Every soldier has a military rank. Military rank showcases the amount of influence each individual soldier has done throughout their career fighting in ground battles.
When you rank up you will receive a free energy bar and you will gain a rank bonus with every attack.
On day 2,032 a new Military rank "Titan" has been introduced.
On day 2,586 a new Military rank "Legends of the New World" has been introduced. [1]
The military rank is analogous to the Aircraft rank.
Ranks
Gaining rank points
The only way to increase a citizen's rank is to defeat your opponents in a war, on a battlefield. Citizens receive Rank Points after they have successfully defeated an opponent. The amount of rank points depends on the amount of damage a soldier does to defeat the opponent and it is 10% of the damage done.
For example, if a player defeats an opponent and adds +50 damage in the battle, he also receives 5 rank points (damage/10).
Note: Natural enemy bonus does not affect the number of rank points received.
For more information on what affects the gain of rank points see Military formulas.
God of War
The first three citizens which have reached this Rank were:
Romper also became the first God Of War*** on day 1,605 (April 12th, 2012, at 5:30 pm EST).
In The old Division System:
The first citizen to have reached this Rank in Division 3 was mhpc.
The first three citizens which have reached this Rank in Division 2 were:
- duasnagasaki became the first citizen to reach this rank on D2, on day 2,064 (15th July 2013).
- drog27 on day 2,102.

- Xanthar Zaiban[3], on day 2231. He was also the first to reach Titan** rank.
- Trico, on day 2,232.
- F@nis, on day 2,235.
Legends of the New World
What could be bigger, stronger and better than Gods of War or Titans? The new rank in eRepublik, is all about the citizens of eRepublik. This means that citizen can put his/her name on it!
The first step of the new rank is triggered at 20 billion rank points (Titan*** is 10 billion). The next steps come every 10 billion (30, 40, 50, 60 etc.). The rank will be named based on the first player to reach it in the Citizenship country.
As some players have already surpassed the milestones, they were granted the rank automatically. Here is the list of the first 12 Legends of the New World, and their ranks:
Citizen | Country | Rank |

Trico | Chile | Legends of Chile: Trico Battalion II |

Mechanism
Each time in every country a citizen reaches a new rank their name would be added to the new rank of that country. Trico from Chile is the first one to reach this rank, therefore his Rank would become: Legends of Chile: Trico Battalion I. Everyone else who reaches this rank would get the same name in their ranks. This Battalion I would stay the same for every citizen even if someone else reaches Battalion II. If someone else reaches Battalion II, this rank would be under his name and everyone else who reaches this rank. For example, if Plato would be the first one to reach Battalion II rank, this Rank would become: Legends of Chile: Plato Battalion II. Every new citizen who reaches Battalion II would get Legends of Chile: Plato Battalion II, even Trico.
But what benefits does this rank? Apart from fame and glory, there are concrete benefits of reaching the Legends of the New World ranks! Like all the other ranks, each step gives you an increase in your damage. You will also deal bonus damage of 10% when fighting for the country you reached the milestones in! This bonus damage is counted from the previous milestones as well, not just the current one. All damage bonuses are applied to everyone who reaches the rank, not just the person reaching it first.
For example, if you get Legend V while with Romanian citizenship and afterwards you change citizenship to France, the 10% bonus damage will count only when you fight in battles of Romania and not of France. If you get Legend VI while with French citizenship and then change back to Romanian citizenship, the 10% bonus damage will now count for France's battles only[4].
