Black Market Trading refers to any trade made outside of the mechanisms of the eRepublik Marketplace. This includes arrangements made in private messages, forum posts, or in IRC chats.

Using the Black Market is not against the eRepublik Rules, but it is at the user's own risk. The eRepublik Moderators cannot enforce agreements made this way. It is possible that people could lose gold and/or inventory items by giving their trust too freely, because some black market sellers could take advantage of other citizens.

The best advice that can be given is that when citizen gets involve in this way of trading approaches with great amount of caution.
