India, officially the Republic of India (Hindi : Bhārat), is a country located on the Indian Subcontinent, Asia. India is bounded by the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea on the west, and the Bay of Bengal on the east; and it is bordered by Pakistan to the west and China in the North. Its Capital region is Northern India.

India has been attacked and conquered many times in the past by numerous countries. However, India has always managed to find a way back on the map of eRepublik.

Geography

India consists of 17 original territories of which it currently has control of 11 regions. North East India has been Rented to it's EDEN ally China for a meager sum of 25gold per month.

Nationalities

The Nation is mostly Real Life Indians but there are people from many other nations. In the Beginning of India there was a lot of Italians though there are almost no Italians left in India now.

Languages

When India first obtained its freedom, people spoke many languages such as Italian, English and Spanish, but this caused a lot of confusion as each community couldn't understand what the other was trying to say. The official language is now English.

Culture and Promotion

eRepublik FIFA World Cup was another projects during the 2010 RL World Cup and was organised by Indians. Sometimes there are Media Mogul projects as well.

Indians take a lot of care of promotion. Voice of India is a non-government organisation started by Jelen od Potoka to promote India in all its beauty and potentials.

Like in all countries the congress in India is one of the most important bodies of a country as they make the laws of a country. India's congress first proposes a law in the Indian National forums and there it is discussed. If accepted in the forums it is proposed in the game and everyone votes yes on it. If a person proposes a law without discussing it in the Indian forums then all the congress men vote no to it. There is also a group that previous congresspeople can access that is called Rajya Sahba.

The Indian Congress is called the Lok Sabha.
