India is a country in Indian Subcontinent. India became part of Pakistan in April 2008 as a result of the Pakistan-India War. After being ruled for 7 months by the government of Pakistan, India was reestablished as an independent nation with the battle of Jharkhand on November 20, 2008. This was the first battle of the Indian Independence War. In March 2009, however, India was again conquered, this time by Indonesia.
On March 21, 2009 India started a Resistance War against Pakistan, and on 22nd March it gained its freedom again by occupying the Pakistan-held state of Orissa.

Nationalities
India is a multi-cultural country with people from all over the world. When India first got its freedom there were hardly any real life Indians present in India. But over time, more and more real Indians joined the game to help India grow.
In India, there are people from many countries in the real world, though the majority are British and Indian. There has been an increase of Americans moving to India, bringing many new ideas and cultures.
Languages
When India first obtained its freedom, people spoke many languages such as Italian, English and Spanish, but this caused a lot of confusion as each community couldn't understand what the other was trying to say. So now the Official Language of India is English. The forums and all the news are written in English.

Iran-India War
The Iran-India War is the most recent war that India has fought in. This war was declared by Iran and only one battle has been fought in this war, the battle of Jharkhand. India and Iran are currently at peace.
Although India had a smaller army in this war it had a very powerful army with 6 official tanks on its side and many others who were not from the government.
Administration
Like in all countries the congress in India is one of the most important bodies of a country as they make the laws of a country. India's congress always first proposes a law in the Indian National forums and there it is discussed. If accepted in the forums it is proposed in the game and everyone votes yes on it. If a person proposes a law without discussing it in the Indian forums then all the congress men vote no to it.
The Indian Congress is called the Lok Sabha.
At the moment India is one party state. The politics and administration are completely dominated by the India United party. Despite this India has continued to act as a democracy, with in-party elections (for Presidential and Congressional seats) taking place on the National Forums. But many Indians have been demanding multiple parties like all the other countries, so new parties are scheduled to be founded soon.
Foreign Affairs
At present India is not involved with any alliance, and the general consensus is that it shall remain a neutral country for as long as it can. India is also trying to have good relations with all countries in the New World.
India's relations with PEACE GC
India lost its freedom due to a political takeover by Indonesians, however after 3 months of friendly negotiations India has managed to see 7 of the 9 regions returned and hopes are that eventually Madhya Pradesh will also be returned.
India at present has great relations with all PEACE countries with the exception of Iran who still control 5 Indian regions but talks are hopefully going to take place soon so that good relations and trust can be built upon.
India participated in the PEACE wargames, between Chile, Argentina and many PEACE and some neutral nations.
India's relations with ATLANTIS
India had excellent relations with ATLANTIS before its dissolution. However, since the majority of the population wanted to stay neutral, India did not join ATLANTIS.
India was close to becoming an ATLANTIS member in February 2009, when Indonesia declared war on India and alliances were signed with many members of ATLANTIS but this was more of a forced move than by wish as India always wished to remain a neutral country.
