India, officially the Republic of India (Hindi : Bhārat), is a country located on the Indian Subcontinent, South Asia. India is bounded by the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea on the west, and the Bay of Bengal on the east; and it is bordered by Pakistan to the west, China in the North and Thailand in the east. Its Capital region is Northern India. India has been attacked and conquered many times in the past by numerous countries. However, India has always managed to find a way back on the map of eRepublik.

Society

Young eIndians (below level 25) are requested to read, vote, comment, subscribe news-articles in eIndia and stay active in the media module as it has been found that media illiteracy and lack of forums, IRC usage have been holding back eIndia as an enation. Ministry of Media and Culture publishes weekly articles(Right to Information) in the first steps section of News Categories aimed at spreading public awareness about govt's various welfare schemes for its citizens.
Nationalities
The Nation is mostly Real Life Indians but there are people from many other nations. In the Beginning of India there were a lot of Italians though there are almost no Italians left in India now.
Languages
When India first obtained its freedom, people spoke many languages such as Italian, English and Spanish, but this caused a lot of confusion as each community couldn't understand what the other was trying to say. The official language is now English.

Administration
Like in all countries the congress in India is one of the most important bodies of a country as they make the laws of a country. India's congress first proposes a law in the Indian National forums and there it is discussed. If accepted in the forums it is proposed in the game and everyone votes yes on it. If a person proposes a law without discussing it in the Indian forums then all the congress men vote no to it. There is also a subforum that previous congress members can access that is called Rajya Sahba.
The Indian Congress is called the Lok Sabha.
